December Salon
liberation (n.)(v.) — Community Salon
Our monthly salon brings together Liberation artists, neighborhood residents, collaborators, volunteers, and others interested in the work we're doing. An informal gathering to share ideas, discuss projects, make plans, and build relationships.

Friends & Neighbors
Friends & Neighbors begins with the artists who make up liberation (n.)(v.) and extends outward through the relationships they sustain. Guest curator Margaret Boozer will select one work by each Liberation artist, who in turn will invite a fellow DMV artist to exhibit alongside them. The exhibition takes friendship, proximity, and mutual recognition as both its subject and its organizing principle. It is an experiment in sharing cultural agency, making room for one another, and expanding the community we are building together.
